简　　介

　　1526年，英格兰国王亨利八世厌烦了年老的妻子，看中年轻貌美的安妮·布莱恩。安妮拒绝了亨利八世，国王恼羞成怒，赶走安妮的心上人哈里，恩威并施，把安妮提升为侍从女官。亨利八世继续展开他的求婚攻势。大臣卡迪纳通过主教来维护国王和王后的婚姻，没有成功。亨利八世的秘书克隆威尔为讨国王欢心，竭力帮国王办理离婚手续。国王掌握了教权，不顾一切，强娶安妮为妻。不久，喜新厌旧的享利八世又看中了漂亮的珍妮，安妮气愤已极，赶走珍妮。国王也怀恨在心，指使克隆威尔捏造安妮与人私通的罪名，最终把安妮处死。
