简介：时为1948年冬，国共内战已经到了最后的白热化阶段，国民党兵败如山倒，中国共产党一统江山已成大势所趋。在即将落败之前，国民党政府企图将一批国宝虏至台湾，这个代号为“钟山一号”的任务最终落到了总统府外事秘书代薇的头上。代薇美艳高贵，被蒋介石称为“东方第一美人”，而她还有着极其复杂的身份。为了防止国宝流失，中共方面授意地下党成员“燕子”——国民党保密局南京站行动处少校陈丽红联合同志们阻止国民党的行动。在此期间，各方势力纷纷介入其中，神秘的杀手“螳螂”也令事态更加扑朔迷离，险象环生。

　　两大美女斗智斗勇，赏心悦目

　　甘婷婷在新《水浒传》中扮演了风情万种潘金莲，而这样一个迷倒男人无数的女人在新剧《螳螂》中摇身一变，成了英姿飒爽的地下党。甘婷婷在剧中饰演的是身份复杂，但是相貌一等，才华出众的陈丽红，她表面上的身份是国民党保密局南京站行动处少校组长，迷人的气质和男子汉般的胆量让她刚进保密局就受到了特务头子戴笠的赏识，但殊不知陈丽红的这正身份是潜伏在国民党内部的地下党。

　　而她在剧中的对手也是一个美女，莫小棋将饰演的国民党外事秘书代薇和甘婷婷“交锋”，一向以性感示人的莫小棋这次在《螳螂》中延续了以往的性感，不同的是在这部电视剧中她更加多了几分冷艳和因为身份所迫而特有的阴冷。很多看过莫小棋以前作品的观众都不禁大呼：“小棋变了，她把这个复杂的女人演的很到位，除了性感，还有女特务的干练，有杀手的戾气，更有一个女人该有的深情。”

　　人物上演多角恋，纠葛无数

　　莫小棋和甘婷婷饰演的角色都是有多重身份的复杂人物，两人在剧中“碰撞”不断，一路走来斗智斗勇。除了在事业上两人对立以外，在感情上，两个人却“口味相同”，爱上了同一个男人，董永饰演的吴同光也是一位地下党领导人，他曾和代薇的另一个身份，满清王府千金小姐代敏珠一起长大，后来结婚并育有一女。后来因为种种原因，两人走上了完全不同的道路，但是在吴同光内心深处，他还是深深的爱着自己的前妻代敏珠。

　　在一次行动中，甘婷婷饰演的陈丽红偶遇吴同光，最初见面他就被吴同光机智和儒雅深深吸引，后来在很多次交锋中，吴同光更是为了保护陈丽红舍身相救，这让陈丽红感动不已，一颗原本坚硬的心瞬时间被这个男人所融化。在吴同光的影响下，陈丽红为了光明去战斗，坚定了信仰的她为我党最后的战斗胜利提供了很多极有价值的情报。

　　传奇故事牵绊人心，都为宝物

　　电视剧《螳螂》的演员阵容赏心悦目，整部剧的剧情更是别出心裁，《螳螂》讲述的是1984年冬，我军开始渡江战役，准备解放南京，就在这段时间，国民党开始准备将一大批珍贵国宝转运到台湾，而这次人任务正是由国民党的外事秘书代薇负责。在此同时，潜伏在国民党内部的陈丽红也得到与代薇完全相反的任务，她要尽一切努力将这批宝物留下来。从此这两个绝世女人之间开始了一场“护宝大战”。

　　这样的题材在~~剧中十分少见，而这段故事也可以说是那个时代的一段传奇，特殊的故事题材让整部电视剧充满了传奇色彩。此前地面播出时观众感叹：“这部剧很神秘，让人有一种惊心动魄的感觉。”看来，~~题材的电视剧不仅要靠斗争场面吸引观众，新颖的题材和精彩的剧情更加能牵动观众的心。
