　　20世纪60年代，一架隶属法国的飞机在北非阿尔及利亚的沙漠中失事，除一人生还外，其他机组人员全部下落不明。精疲力尽的生还者带回一个神秘的手提箱，但是他的意识却恍惚游离，没人能从他的口中知道发生过什么事情。为了找到失事的飞机并探明原因，军方派遣一队10人伞兵前往沙漠进行寻找。
　　
　　经历千辛万苦，伞兵队员总算找到飞机残骸，但是却很快遭到了游击队的袭击，与此同时还遭遇了一场强烈的沙尘暴。天灾人祸，令这几个来自法国的年轻人完全失去了方向。他们偶然间走入一个地图上从未标注的土城，由此展开了一段奇怪而恐怖的经历……
