     《告密者》根据十年前在联合国担当维和人员的凯瑟琳·波克瓦克的真实经历改编而来,讲述了一个女警察陷入美国当局一桩丑闻事件的种种遭遇。影片线索极为复杂,充满了政治隐喻色彩。
      女警察凯萨琳，被上级指派到波西尼亚，加入联合国维安部队，协助重建的监管工作。她的任务是训练波西尼亚警察，恢复受战争蹂躏的国家。某日，凯萨琳遇见一位从妓院脱逃的女子，根据她的泣述与证据，联合国内部企图掩盖的性丑闻，将被揭发…隐藏在事实背后，是更可怕的真相…

      影片最耀眼的，莫过于超强的演员阵容；莫妮卡贝露琪在演过《骇客任务》之后一直被封为欧洲最性感女星；瑞秋怀兹则凭藉《神鬼传奇》打出名号，并在《疑云杀机》获得奥斯卡最佳女配角，她在生完孩子后迅速返回电影圈接演《骗行无阻》；凡妮莎罗瑞葛芙在40年前以《茱莉亚》获得奥斯卡最佳女配角，堪称是好莱坞的常青树，去年年初她刚遭遇了丧女之痛—其女儿娜塔莎李察森因滑雪意外不幸去世，目前凡妮莎则专心投入工作，希望可以暂时忘却悲伤。大卫史翠森曾以《晚安祝你好运》获得奥斯卡最佳男猪脚提名，在《神鬼认证3》裡也有出色的表现。
      瑞秋怀兹(Rachel Weisz)、凡妮莎罗瑞葛芙(Vanessa Redgrave)、莫妮卡贝露琪(Monica Bellucci)三位实力派女星，将和大卫史翠森(David Strathairn)相互尬戏。电影由Voltage Pictures电影公司联合投资拍摄，由新锐导演拉尔萨.康达基执导，取景范围遍及布加勒斯特和罗马尼亚。
