简　　介


　　16岁的杰米和他的妈妈伊丽莎白以及两个弟弟，艾利克斯和尼古拉斯住在一起。他们的家位于阿德莱德北部的市郊。这里的居民区是政府的“阳光工程”，专门提供给那些家庭不幸的人居住。
　　杰米一直想逃离家中的那种无助、消极和暴力的氛围，他想出去生活，找到属于自己的世界。这时候，一个叫做约翰·本廷的男人来到了杰米的世界中，他成为了杰米无助生活的救世主。这个富有人格魅力的男子时常会给杰米一家一些帮助。而随着约翰和杰米一家关系的越来越近，伊丽莎白和他的孩子们都在幻想着一种稳定、牢固且温馨的，他们从来没有奢求过的家庭生活。
　　约翰慢慢地也在改变着自己的角色，他从杰米的保护者慢慢变成了杰米的“教导者”。他把杰米引入了自己的价值观中，在他的价值观里，充满了怨恨、偏执和怨念。和所有的父子关系一样，杰米慢慢成为了“翻版”的约翰，而且他也渐渐脱离开了自己的家庭，转而和约翰同吃同住，和约翰的朋友呆在一起。可是他并不知道，这个看上去很普通、很像父亲的男人究竟是谁……
